How to Remove the threshold Panel From a 2007 Chrysler 300

One of the common reasons for removing the threshold panels in a vehicle is almost always to replace the speakers; then again, you may also plan to remove it to service or replace the time frame or replace internal front door power equipment (door fastening actuators, power window generators, etc. ). The Chrysler 300 entrance panel isn't too difficult to clear out. The procedure is an identical in all 2007 designs, including the 300C.

Instructions

Loosen the nut about the negative battery cable. Lift the cable clear of the battery post in order to avoid electric shock when handling the doorway panel electrical components.

Pull open the inside door handle. Pry open the miscroscopic flap behind the handle having a flat head screwdriver. Take away the screw behind the flap having a Phillips head screwdriver.

Pry open the flap beneath the door panel armrest by having a flat head screwdriver. Take away the screw behind it that has a Phillips head screwdriver.

Remove the three screws on the bottom edge of the doorway panel with a Phillips face screwdriver.

Locate typically the five plastic rivets surrounding the doorway panel on the aspects and bottom--there are none at the top. Insert a 7/16 T-handle into the biggest market of the rivets to disengage the doorway panel clips from the threshold skin.
